Sundays - Birth-5th Grade
9am and 10:30am / During Both Worship Times

First Step - Follow the signs to the Kids Welcome Desk.   On your first Sunday, parents will fill out a short information form to check in their kids.  In future weeks, parents will check in by sharing their last name.  Two stickers print out.  One sticker with your kid's name on it and a three-digit code.  Parents will keep the other sticker with the same three-digit code and use it to pick up their kids after worship.

Second Step - During Children's Ministry, your kids will have fun playing games, creating art, and playing in the gym all under the supervision of trained leaders who have passed FBI background checks.  Each week's lesson focuses on two main truths: God Loves You No Matter What.
Love Your Neighbor No Matter Who.

Third Step - Pick up your kids at the designated pick up spot.  Bring your sticker with the three-digit code that matches their sticker and pick up is safe and complete.

  • It's Cool to Be Kind

    (Just for 2nd - 5th Grades)

    Meets monthly

*Note New Time in 2024: 3-4:30pm

The "It's Cool to Be Kind" group is for kids 2nd - 5th grades (kids entering grades 2nd-5th/6th in the fall) who want to have fun meeting new friends, playing games, and doing some mission activities. Together with leader Lisa Hendry, they'll meet at KUMC and occasionally meet outside of the church for fun outings too! Kids are welcome to bring friends and parents are always welcome to join us, as well.  On meeting days, meet in the gym to do some team-building activities and play some games, then we'll head down to Room 105 for a story and discussion. Friends are always welcome to come with you to our meetings!

Cool to Be Kind Meets this Summer on:

Sunday, August 18, 3-4:30pm: “It’s Cool To Be Kind” kids will meet for some end-of-summer fun! We will meet in KUMC’s gym from 3:00-4:30 pm to do a scavenger hunt and play some group games. We’ll continue our summer-long  mission project by collecting gently used toys, games and books (baby/toddler board books through 12th grade books) for Helping Hand Me Downs and the Lifebridge kids store during financial wellness classes. Kids, start cleaning out your closets and bring toys, books and games that are in good condition to our meetings all summer long! It’s cool to be kind by helping other kids! Questions?
