Kids Ministry on Sundays

        Birth-5th Grade
9am and 10:30am / During Both Worship Times

First Step - Follow the signs to the Kids Welcome Desk.   On your first Sunday, parents will fill out a short information form to check in their kids.  In future weeks, parents will check in by sharing their last name.  Two stickers print out.  One sticker with your kid's name on it and a three-digit code.  Parents will keep the other sticker with the same three-digit code and use it to pick up their kids after worship.

Second Step - During Children's Ministry, your kids will have fun playing games, creating art, and playing in the gym all under the supervision of trained leaders who have passed FBI background checks.  Each week's lesson focuses on two main truths: God Loves You No Matter What.
Love Your Neighbor No Matter Who.

Third Step - Pick up your kids at the designated pick up spot.  Bring your sticker with the three-digit code that matches their sticker and pick up is safe and complete.

  • It's Cool to Be Kind

    (Just for 2nd - 5th Grades)

    Meets OnE Sunday A month, 3- 4:30PM

The "It's Cool to Be Kind" group is for kids 2nd - 5th grades (kids entering grades 2nd-5th/6th in the fall) who want to have fun meeting new friends, playing games, and doing some mission activities. The group will meet at KUMC and occasionally outside of the church for fun outings too! Kids are welcome to bring friends and parents are always welcome to join us, as well.  On meeting days, meet in the gym to do some team-building activities and play some games, then we'll head down to Room 105 for a story and discussion. Friends are always welcome to come with you to our meetings!

    Next Meeting: Sunday, November 10

  • Play cafè

    wednesdays, 3 - 5 PM, in KUMC's Gym

Parents, bring the kids and let them enjoy open gym time in our indoor gym play area while you relax and get to chat with other parents after school ends. You do not have to be a member of KUMC, just a parent with a young child (or children) that needs to have some afternoon play time. Let the little ones wiggle out that afternoon energy while you catch up with friends or meet new ones!
