The Children’s Ministry at Kirkwood UMC aims to nurture and support children and their families in their faith. To that end, Children’s Ministry Childcare Workers assist in Children’s Ministry programs, helping kids from birth through 5th grade and their families experience the love of Christ through their support and care. This position will report to the Director of the Children’s Ministry and assist other childcare staff members in caring for children and with activities, events, and programs for children and families. This may include Kids’ Worship on Sunday mornings, weeknights, and weekends. The position is part-time, hourly (averaging 3-10 hours a week - with flexible scheduling).

This staff member will greet members of the congregation and greater community in the front reception area, answer and direct incoming calls, help maintain congregational databases, and support other staff and volunteers with administrative needs.
