Faith-filled fun for every age. At Kirkwood UMC, we’re committed to creating safe, joyful spaces where children and youth can grow spiritually, build friendships, and discover God’s love through worship, learning, and service.

    Sunday Kids Ministry


    Birth–5th Grade During Both Worship Services (9:00am & 10:30am) Children’s Ministry is available during both worship times. Here’s what to expect:


    It’s Cool to Be Kind

    Grades 3–5 Monthly on Sundays 3:00–4:30pm A monthly gathering for kids who want to make friends, play games, and serve others through fun mission activities.

    • Meets at KUMC and occasionally off-site
    • Friends and parents are always welcome

  • Youth Ministry

    Grades 6–12 Sundays 6:30–7:30pm at KUMC Youth are invited to gather weekly for games, conversation, and faith-building fun. Youth Group is a space to connect, grow, and enjoy time together.

    • Weekly meetings begin Sunday, August 18
    • Occasional special events—check back for updates

  • Volunteer with children and youth

    To serve in our Children’s or Youth Ministries, volunteers must complete Safe Gatherings training and certification. Visit the Safe Gatherings Training Page to get started.
