Property Manager



Kirkwood UMC is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the care, maintenance, safety, and operation of our church buildings, equipment, and grounds. This position maintains our facilities so they are safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for worship and ministry events.

Supervises: Part-Time Custodial Staff 

Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week; some evenings, weekends, or Sundays may be required. We are open to structuring this role as either full-time or part-time depending on the ideal candidate's availability and goals. 

On-Call: Occasional after-hours response for facility emergencies, alarms, severe weather, or other urgent needs

Family Ministry Coordinator

Kirkwood UMC is seeking a Part-Time Family Ministry Coordinator to assist the Associate Pastor/Family Ministry Director in overseeing the church’s nursery, preschool, and elementary programs. This 15 to 20 hour per week non-exempt role focuses on curriculum preparation, event planning, and day-to-day administration to support children and families. Primary responsibilities include managing Sunday morning operations, creating monthly staff and volunteer schedules, ordering ministry supplies, helping select Pre-K through Youth Sunday school materials, providing nursery coverage when needed, and coordinating with the Communications Director to update website and social media content.

Children and Youth Choir Director

The Children’s and/or Youth Choir Director partners with other staff and volunteers to nurture the spiritual formation of children and youth through the learning and making of music. This position helps create a welcoming, joyful, and faith-centered environment where children and youth from the church and wider community can develop their musical gifts, build community, and explore their faith.

Handyman Volunteer Needed!

Do you enjoy fixing things, working with your hands, and helping keep our church looking its best? We’re looking for a volunteer who can lend a hand with occasional handyman projects around the church and preschool—small repairs, maintenance projects, and general fixes as needed. No regular schedule required, just a willingness to help when projects come up. If you have some handy skills and a heart for serving, we’d love to hear from you!
